What you will do

• Collaborate with talented testers, translators, and developers to report and fix linguistic issues effectively.
• Guard linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and cultural appropriateness in every game you touch.
• Test games using hirify.global LQA methods, ensuring no detail is missed and industry standards are met.
• Report linguistic bugs clearly in professional bug databases, track progress, and verify fixes.
• Evolve from a tester to a trusted LQA expert, owning projects and mastering the full testing cycle.
• Write and refine test cases, document findings, and set best practices in LQA.
• Collaborate with developers and fellow testers early to shape game localization testing and improvements.
• Continuously seek smarter, faster, and better ways to optimize workflows, share knowledge, and raise overall standards.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and a relentless pursuit of linguistic perfection.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong passion for games and a deep understanding of how they sound, look, and feel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment without compromising quality.
• Proactive, determined, and naturally curious about how things work and how to improve them.
• Comfortable using databases, spreadsheets, testing tools, and MS Office with a focus on organization and accuracy.
• Must have the right to work in Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
• Familiarity with translation systems.
• Previous use of test case management tools or text editing platforms.
• An understanding of gaming trends and the culture behind them.
