What you will do

• Develop end-to-end data solutions for complex business challenges using internal, third-party, large, and small datasets.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis, experimentation, and predictive or prescriptive modelling to support evidence-based decisions.
• Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and generative AI techniques, including large language models and agentic AI workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, business stakeholders, and other technical disciplines.
• Communicate the business value of analytical solutions and contribute to hirify.global's data and analytics community.
• Apply engineering best practices, including version control, testing, code review, and reproducible development workflows.

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM or closely related field, or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience applying data science and analytical techniques to business problems.
• Experience with data analysis, experimentation, and model development.
• Strong knowledge of statistical concepts, machine learning, generative AI, and data science techniques.
• Experience with Python, SQL, analytical tools, programming languages, and databases.
• Ability to critically review and validate AI-assisted work and communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in finance or insurance.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform.
• Further academic degree.
• Knowledge of insurance industry practices.
