Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: London, UK; in-office collaboration is expected for 10+ days per month, with attendance determined by managers and teams.

What you will do

• Lead data science for one or more product or business areas, including Payments, Stablecoin, or Custody.
• Partner with product and business leaders on roadmap prioritization, success criteria, and measurement.
• Build product and network health metrics, causal inference methods, forecasting models, and reusable analytical frameworks.
• Apply AI, LLMs, and agentic workflows to scale insight generation, automate routine analysis, and improve self-service analytics.
• Evaluate growth across customers, corridors, and on-chain activity, identifying causal drivers of adoption and volume.
• Define metrics, communicate complex results to senior stakeholders, and mentor other data scientists.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analysis with measurable impact on product and business decisions.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and shaping product or business roadmaps.
• Strong expertise in experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, and statistical modeling.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted analytics, agentic analysis, insight generation, or natural-language data interfaces.
• Expertise in Python or R, fluency in SQL, and experience with large-scale data technologies such as Databricks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical analysis into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with FinTech, payments, crypto, or blockchain data.
• Advanced degree such as an MS or PhD in a quantitative field.
