Location: Must be based in Portugal. Note: Mandatory in-person onboarding in Portugal is required for all new hires.

What you will do

• Prepare and record stablecoin customer flows, including issuance and redemption entries.
• Perform high-volume reconciliations to ensure total accuracy of stablecoin reporting.
• Generate monthly reserve reports to support independent auditor attestations.
• Conduct rigorous variance reviews and fluctuation analyses for general ledger balances.
• Support the implementation of accounting software to automate monthly closing workflows.
• Maintain internal controls compliance and support tax and audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in financial management, accounting, or audit.
• Full professional proficiency in English (C1+).
• Experience writing and editing SQL queries for data analysis.
• High proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel for advanced data modeling.
• Must be based in Portugal with ability to complete mandatory in-person onboarding.

Nice to have

• Active CPA certification or local equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Industry experience in digital assets, SaaS, or high-growth technology.
• Experience working at a public audit firm.
