What you will do

• Lead complex sustaining engineering projects and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Design and develop secure mobile applications for Android and iOS using native and cross-platform technologies.
• Develop algorithms for wireless data transfer between mobile apps and implantable medical devices using Bluetooth Low Energy.
• Architect mobile applications to ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA standards for data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, systems, quality, and regulatory departments.
• Analyze mobile application performance and network security to ensure robust and reliable interface operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 10+ years of technical experience or Advanced degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proven experience in mobile application development (Android/iOS).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols and device communication.
• Ability to work on-site 4 days per week in Mounds View, MN.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Xamarin or Flutter.
• Knowledge of mobile app security tools and CI/CD pipeline setup.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
