What you will do

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes by working hands-on with welding, forming, and cutting operations.
• Evaluate and optimize existing operational processes through experiments and data-driven improvements.
• Assess new equipment technology and provide professional evaluations focused on safety and efficiency.
• Lead pilot process implementations and provide oversight for scaling new technologies.
• Manage projects including scope definition, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, fabrication, and equipment teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy manufacturing or fabrication environments.
• Proven expertise in steel fabrication processes such as welding, laser cutting, and machining.
• Experience with automation, robotics integration, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Familiarity with ERP and MES systems.
• Experience with simulation tools and digital twin technology.
• Knowledge of business financials and entrepreneurial experience.
