TL;DR

Record To Report Manager (Finance): Managing the end-to-end month-end close process and strengthening the control environment for a leading EV charging provider with an accent on balance sheet cleansing and audit readiness. Focus on driving process automation through RPA and AI-enabled solutions and ensuring IFRS compliance.

Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in London office). Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end month-end close process across all entities ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the Balance Sheet Cleanse project to rebuild reconciliations to a consistent standard.
  • Strengthen the audit-ready control environment, focusing on segregation of duties and journal authorization.
  • Design and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using RPA and AI-enabled tools.
  • Deputize for the Group Financial Controller as a senior escalation point within the team.
  • Collaborate with Group FC and Head of FP&A to align financial processes with operational activity.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a senior Finance Manager or R2R role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and VAT.
  • Experience maintaining financial controls and collaborating with Big Four accounting firms.
  • Exposure to finance transformation, RPA, or AI-driven process improvement.
  • Legal right to work in the UK is strictly required.
