TL;DR

IT Intern (IT Service Desk): Supporting internal IT services with an emphasis on Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and enterprise infrastructure. Focus on hands-on end-user support, desktop setup and deployment, identity and account management, and troubleshooting audio/video conferencing systems.

What you will do

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software in a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Set up and deploy desktop computers (Windows and Mac).
  • Support user account management in Active Directory and assist with Office 365/SharePoint tasks.
  • Handle ServiceNow-related work, including maintaining knowledge base documentation.
  • Assist with IT equipment procurement, distribution, and hardware/software inventory management.
  • Troubleshoot audio/video conferencing systems and support administration of core hosted applications.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and/or Mac OS.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Office apps, Teams, Outlook).
  • Interest in IT support, troubleshooting, and end-user services.
  • Basic understanding of networking and/or device management and identity management (identity management is a plus).
  • Ability to work on-site in the Erlangen office.
