Chief Accountant

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Vilnius office (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

Salary: €4,000 – €6,000 gross/month + bonus

What you will do

• Own and manage the full accounting function end-to-end.
• Lead, support, and develop the accounting team.
• Ensure accurate month-end close and reliable P&L and balance sheet reporting.
• Establish and enforce clear accounting processes, controls, and approvals.
• Oversee VAT, statutory compliance, and audit readiness.
• Improve cash flow visibility, inventory accuracy, and accrual processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience in accounting with full ownership responsibility.
• Proven experience leading or managing accountants.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, reporting, and compliance.
• Experience building or improving accounting processes and controls.
• Audit experience or strong audit-readiness mindset.
• Must be able to work from the Vilnius office 3 days per week.
