TL;DR

Sr Manager - International QA & Menu Commercialization (Food Safety/QA): Directing regional menu commercialization and Wendy’s International QA programs across food safety, quality, nutrition, sanitation, production, CSR, and animal welfare with an accent on compliance monitoring, supplier audits, and product compliance management. Focus on building and leading international QA teams, coordinating product specifications and launches with cross-functional partners, and driving corrective actions to maintain >95% compliance.

Location: Primarily at hirify.global Restaurants or other field locations as designated by the Company; when not working at a hirify.global location, remote work is permitted (subject to managerial approval and business needs).

Salary: $126,000.00 - $221,000.00 Annually

What you will do

  • Lead commercialization of new and improved products, ensuring specifications meet operational and quality standards and coordinating product launch with SCM and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop, update, and implement compliance programs and procedures to monitor and maintain food safety and quality specifications for multiple core and assigned products.
  • Oversee scheduling and execution of audits of food processors and ensure completion of annual third-party audits of assigned suppliers; conduct 30% of audits and drive corrective actions for non-compliance.
  • Manage and coach International Product QA team members, including performance management and influencing regional senior leadership on QA product strategies.
  • Build relationships across Operations, Marketing, Engineering, QA, QSCC, and Training to execute innovation and menu commercialization strategies.
  • Support secondary sourcing and plant approval to enable global/regional/local sourcing goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Food Science, Meat Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in food processing QA, Operations, or Commercialization.
  • Strong knowledge of food science, HACCP, food processing technology, equipment, and microbiology.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of statistical analysis, including statistical process control.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
