Salary: $64,000 – $80,000 USD

What you will do

• Monitor critical limits and verify daily checks for refrigeration, sanitation, and equipment operation.
• Participate in regulatory inspection readiness and manage corrective actions.
• Develop and implement food safety programs, including internal assessments and Chef audits.
• Train employees and Chef teams on GMPs, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Identify and assess potential food safety risks within the production process.
• Assist with environmental monitoring and shelf-life testing.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or equivalent experience.
• Certified Food Safety Manager (e.g., ServSafe) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in food safety or quality control in a high-compliance environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Spanish proficiency is highly preferred
