Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom. Hybrid role with occasional attendance required at the Milton Keynes campus (approx. once per month).

Salary: £47,389 – £56,535

• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, distance-learning curriculum in photography at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Develop engaging and accessible online module content covering photographic practices and visual communication theories.
• Support student learning through the preparation of assessment materials and participation in quality assurance processes.
• Draw upon professional experience to create vocational learning materials with an emphasis on digital techniques.
• Enhance research culture through the development of traditional or practice-based research.
• Strengthen links with the creative industries to facilitate collaborations and knowledge exchange.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• Honours degree in a relevant subject.
• Experience of developing and delivering photography curriculum in a higher education setting.
• Professional practice in photography demonstrated by a portfolio of creative work.
• Strong professional network for curriculum design and research collaboration.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.

Nice to have

• PhD or MFA in Photography or a related subject.
• Experience producing innovative distance learning materials.
• Understanding of AI-assisted and synthetic image creation and digital post-production workflows.
• Experience building ethical and sustainable photography practices.
