Salary: $190K–$230K base + equity

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of products and systems end-to-end.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product architecture and the technical roadmap.
• Improve technical quality by providing detailed technical feedback on blueprints and during code reviews.
• Deliver production systems with strong ownership of tasks and deliverables.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience delivering production systems.
• Expertise in technical problem solving, data modeling, and API development.
• Strong communication skills, including simplifying complex ideas in writing.
• Ability to deeply understand business context and user needs.
• Reliability and strong work ethic when owning tasks and deliverables.
• Hybrid requirement: live within a reasonable commute to San Francisco or New York City and work the hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office).

Nice to have

• Experience building with React and React Native.
• Experience with Node/Express and MongoDB.
• Experience integrating payments (Stripe: Issuing, Treasury).
