What you will do

• Design, implement, and automate security controls and testing within the SDLC.
• Lead application security practices and coordinate between engineering and security teams.
• Apply Security-as-Code principles by creating reusable patterns and best practices.
• Support the implementation of secure agentic workflows and AI-driven solutions.
• Respond to security threats, manage incidents, and conduct post-incident reviews.
• Coach and mentor chapter members while influencing architectural decisions across squads.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps/Platform Engineering experience in Azure and/or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, compliance, and access control (IAM/PAM).
• Experience with threat modelling and risk assessment in cloud architectures.
• Proficiency with AppSec tooling and CI/CD integration.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Terraform and cloud-native containerized systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the insurance and London Market ecosystem.
• Experience operating in highly regulated environments.
• Proven hands-on software delivery experience using modern DevOps practices.
