Data Lead (AI and Automation)

What you will do

• Establish, manage, and evolve enterprise data, AI, and automation processes and capabilities.
• Design, deliver, and support analytics, machine learning models, dashboards, and related platforms.
• Own the roadmap for trusted data foundations, including master data, data quality, governance, cataloguing, traceability, and access controls.
• Provide technical and business leadership across data architecture, integration, visualisation, cloud services, and emerging AI technologies.
• Establish data management policies and operational controls covering platform administration, code promotion, monitoring, security, and compliance.
• Lead team workload management, mentoring, stakeholder collaboration, training, and adoption of data and AI solutions.

Requirements

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in information technology, data, or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and data science methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, R, SQL, and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, data architecture, ETL, data mining, business intelligence, data governance, data quality, and data cleansing.
• Knowledge of data security, administration, visualisation, BI tools, on-premise and public cloud data services, and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with onshore and offshore support models, team leadership, stakeholder communication, and project management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure SQL Database, Analysis Services, Logic Apps, Data Factory, PaaS concepts, and cloud BI.
• ERP implementation experience.
