Graduate AI Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Support the unification of fragmented processes, methods, tools, and data across hirify.global domains.
• Integrate physical models with data-driven AI approaches, including computer vision, surrogate modeling, and hybrid modeling.
• Develop custom full-stack software solutions using Python and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Apply physical engineering principles across structures, systems, materials, and simulation to connect data science with airframe engineering.
• Complete at least one rotational placement, potentially with structural design, computer-aided engineering, wing stress design, research and technology, physical testing, or AI governance teams.
• Build technical, business, communication, and leadership capabilities through the two-year hirify.global Global Graduate development programme.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in computer science, materials, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
• Recent graduation or initial professional experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or physical engineering.
• Existing right to work in the UK or eligibility through another route, such as a Graduate Visa or Youth Mobility Scheme.
• Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance or completion of a BPSS check, including a criminal record check.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, the business language.
• Programming proficiency or strong interest in Python, Scikit-Learn, or TensorFlow, with willingness to learn Agile software development and cloud technologies.
