AI Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working is required, with regular office attendance; from January 2027, employees will work from their designated hirify.global office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with some teams requiring more frequent attendance.

What you will do

• Design and build generative AI applications for complex financial and legal workflows using state-of-the-art models.
• Drive the end-to-end model development lifecycle, including experimentation, training, testing, monitoring, deployment, and reproducible research.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business problems, define scoped product bets, and improve end-user outcomes.
• Apply research and advanced AI techniques in a fast-paced internal startup-style environment.
• Share ideas and work across the organization and help lead AI adoption at hirify.global.
• Mentor and elevate teammates through knowledge sharing and strong engineering practices.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python for production-ready delivery.
• Expertise in at least one of the following areas, with familiarity with others: information retrieval; entity and relationship extraction or resolution; knowledge graphs and graphRAG; recommendation systems and ranking; tabular machine learning; or statistical and predictive modelling.
• Deep understanding of the generative AI landscape and agentic frameworks.
• Experience across the full model lifecycle, including experimentation, training, testing, monitoring, and deployment.
• Strong product focus and willingness to understand the end-to-end impact of solutions for end users.
• Good knowledge of AWS AI infrastructure.
