Principal Software Test Engineer (Embedded)

What you will do

• Lead the software testing team and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements and design documentation.
• Test functional, performance, and safety requirements for embedded and avionics-related systems.
• Ensure compliance with RTCA DO-178C in safety-critical environments.
• Manage test planning, execution, defect reporting, and completion across the full testing lifecycle.
• Mentor the team on test automation and CI best practices and collaborate on system integration and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software testing experience focused on embedded systems.
• Strong experience writing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• In-depth knowledge of RTCA DO-178C and software engineering processes.
• Experience testing aviation or aerospace software.
• Familiarity with the Qt framework.

• UAV systems experience.
• Technical and line management experience.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Agile and TDD familiarity.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
