What you will do

• Develop digital twins for future powertrain systems to analyze and optimize thermal performance.
• Create and improve thermal systems to increase overall energy efficiency.
• Implement innovative methodologies to enhance process automation and operational efficiency.
• Generate KPIs and requirements while developing and analyzing test cases.
• Conduct environmental tests globally in locations such as the USA, Italy, Finland, and Spain.
• Collaborate with global experts to integrate the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in R&D and product development.
• Strong understanding of thermal management systems, electrified/hybrid powertrains, or engine systems.
• Experience in 1D modelling of automotive systems and System Dynamics.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink for data acquisition and post-processing.
• English: C1 level (fluent speaking and excellent writing) required

Nice to have

• Programming experience in C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with modelling tools such as hirify.global CruiseM, GT-Power, Kuli, or FlowMaster.
• Knowledge of the German language.
