Senior Cloud Native Platform Engineer (AI)

Salary: $200,000 - $225,000 USD

What you will do

• Build and improve shared Kubernetes-based platform capabilities used by internal engineering teams to run AI services.
• Own critical platform areas, including cluster operations, workload runtime configuration, and environment automation.
• Develop production-quality automation, scripts, and tooling in Go, Python, or Bash to reduce manual toil.
• Strengthen observability foundations by refining metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and storage layers.
• Mentor less experienced engineers in platform fundamentals and operational judgement.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience operating and improving Kubernetes-based platforms in production.
• Solid experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and GitOps-style workflows.
• Deep understanding of reliability engineering principles, incident response, and failure analysis.
• Proficiency in writing backend code or automation in Go, Python, or Bash.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing).
• Must be based in the US.
