Salary: $110,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of interceptor test systems from requirements analysis to LRIP deployment.
• Design STE hardware including mechanical fixtures, electrical interface panels, and load simulators.
• Lead hands-on build, integration, and debug of racks, harnesses, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Develop automated test software using LabVIEW, Python, or C++ for production test stations.
• Architect production stations optimized for throughput, repeatability, and operator simplicity.
• Design and support qualification campaigns for vibration, thermal, shock, and EMI/EMC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years experience designing custom test equipment for aerospace, defense, or high-reliability systems.
• Proficiency in electrical schematic design, wiring, and mechanical fixture design.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and instrumentation integration.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with missile, UAV, or guided munition systems.
• Experience designing HIL systems for avionics or control systems.
• Familiarity with NI hardware platforms and RF testing.
• Experience in energetics or explosive-safe environments.
