What you will do

• Solve operational orbital mechanics problems and process data for orbit states and predictions.
• Coordinate and integrate information across functional areas to deliver products for customer situational awareness.
• Perform conjunction assessments and manage proximity operations.
• Conduct orbital analysis and maintain satellite catalogs.
• Apply knowledge of astrodynamics to orbit determination, decay, and orbital maneuvers for station keeping.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance; must be able to obtain TS/SCI.
• 2+ years of experience in Space Situational Awareness, orbital analysis, and collision avoidance.
• Deep knowledge of orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, and space object tracking sensors.
• Proficiency with Linux-based OS (Red Hat/Fedora) and MS Office.
• Experience with Space Force’s Astrodynamics Support Workstation or similar software tools.

Nice to have

• Technical degree in Aerospace Engineering, Space Operations, or Physics.
• Experience in orbital or space science data and non-regular data message management.
• Ability to create automation scripts in Perl or other scripting languages.
