What you will do

• Manage and maintain SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage and enterprise backup solutions.
• Perform routine storage provisioning, data migration, and capacity planning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot backup and storage hardware and software issues.
• Develop automation scripts and work with tools like Ansible and Terraform for service delivery.
• Ensure system compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and data restoration procedures.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a storage or backup role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Must be able to obtain Reliability Status Clearance from the Government of Canada.
• Basic understanding of backup technologies (e.g., Dell Avamar, Rubrik) and storage concepts (SAN, NAS, RAID).
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Shell) or automation tools.
