What you will do

• Lead the design and architecture of complex Power Distribution solutions and safety circuitry for building systems.
• Drive the full hardware development lifecycle for high-complexity instrument projects from concept to production.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers to foster technical excellence.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for cross-functional teams and senior customer engagements.
• Manage system certification processes according to Semi S2/S8, NFPA, NEC, and IEC 61010 standards.
• Design cable harnesses and select hardware to ensure system safety and functionality.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience (or M.S. with 8+ years).
• Proven track record in leading the development of sophisticated system manufacturing and testing equipment.
• Expertise in electrical codes and safety standards, including Semi S2/S8, NFPA, NEC, and IEC 61010.
• Experience with industrial networking protocols, subnets, IP assignments, and industrial cybersecurity.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for interfacing with global suppliers and senior management.
• Must be located in or able to work on-site in North Reading, MA.
