Technical Advisor (Wind Energy)

Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 CAD hourly

What you will do

• Ensure HSE compliance throughout the WTG installation and finishing process, reporting any deviations.
• Advise the customer's Balance of Plant (BOP) contractor to meet Nordex quality standards.
• Provide technical expertise for mechanical and electrical installations of wind turbines and components.
• Document and report quality or time deviations using the UPVISE system.
• Oversee the reception, use, and handover of specialized Nordex tooling.
• Conduct quality control checks, including Incoming goods, Quality gates, and Customer Walkdowns.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in mechanical, electrical, or construction fields.
• WTG on-site assembly experience is required.
• Proficiency in English and French is required.
• Must be able to work in Canada without company sponsorship and travel to the US for training.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet a weight requirement of 120kg (265 lbs) or less for climbing gear.
• High school diploma or equivalent technical training and safety certifications.
