Salary: $134,700 - $207,600

What you will do

• Define the survivability strategy and roadmap aligned with mission needs and business objectives.
• Determine in-house versus outsourced capabilities and establish external partnerships.
• Develop and institutionalize survivability design best practices and technical standards.
• Lead trade studies balancing survivability, weight, performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed survivability into product development and validation.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

• BSE or BS in Mechanical, Materials, or Systems Engineering.
• 10+ years of professional experience in survivability-related engineering or strategy.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
• No immigration-related sponsorship provided.
• Strong understanding of design tradeoffs, material behavior, and analysis methods.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
