What you will do

• Research, report, and write daily news segments.
• Determine appropriate video and sound elements for assigned segments.
• Write and edit lower-third banner chyrons for live coverage.
• Collaborate with senior producers on editorial planning and story development.
• Lead segment production for digital platforms including YouTube and social media.
• Produce vital on-screen content for weekend programming.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization for the United States
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in journalism (cable, network, web, or newspaper).
• Strong writing, research, and reporting skills with knowledge of American politics and history.
• Must be willing to work weekends and flexible hours under tight deadlines.
