What you will do

• Assemble precision optical components and opto-mechanical assemblies for laser systems at component and subsystem levels.
• Perform optical assembly/alignment, adhesive dispensing, and curing using robotic equipment.
• Conduct Optical Metrology measurements, including surface figure, transmitted wavefront error, and extinction ratio.
• Maintain strict compliance with Class 5 cleanroom protocols and material handling practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering to suggest procedural improvements and ensure adherence to specifications.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Boulder, CO
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly department preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong manual dexterity and fine motor control for handling sensitive optics.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office suite.
