Policy and Regulatory Analyst (Digital Identity)

What you will do

• Analyze eIDAS 2.0 implementing acts, ETSI standards, EU AML regulation, and related frameworks, assessing their impact on products and customers across EMEA.
• Support the ETSI TS 119 461 v2 uplift across the EU 27 Member States and maintain UK DVS certification.
• Conduct regulatory assessments covering identity, trust services, and financial frameworks.
• Map the regulatory pathway for the EUDI Wallet and help build horizon-scanning tools.
• Draft consultation responses and position papers, participate in expert working groups, and engage with regulators and policymakers across Europe.
• Produce summaries, comparison tables, and recommendations for Product, Engineering, Sales, and GTM teams.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in regulatory analysis, public affairs, digital identity, technology regulation, or a related field.
• Ability to interpret and summarize regulatory and technical frameworks, including eIDAS 2.0, ETSI TS 119 461, EU AML regulation, EBA, and AMLA guidelines.
• Excellent writing, structuring, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate between Product, technology, and legal terminology and work cross-functionally.
• Fluent English and intellectual curiosity about regulation and technologies such as deepfakes, biometrics, and digital identity wallets.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French, German, or Spanish.
• Experience with trust services, eIDAS 2.0, ETSI standards, the UK DIATF, certification processes, public consultations, or position papers.
