Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 + up to 10% annual bonus

What you will do
- Design, develop, implement, test, and optimize signal processing and physiological measurement algorithms for medical device applications.
- Analyze physiological and clinical datasets to evaluate performance, accuracy, robustness, and reliability.
- Support the full algorithm lifecycle from concept and feasibility through prototyping, verification, validation, and product integration.
- Apply statistical analysis, numerical modeling, machine learning, and digital signal processing to address biomedical engineering challenges.
- Build software tools, scripts, and simulation environments to support algorithm development and data analysis.
- Collaborate with algorithm, software, systems, hardware, clinical, and quality teams; document designs and verification results for design control and quality systems.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of related engineering experience in algorithm development, signal processing, biomedical engineering, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with digital signal processing, statistical analysis, optimization methods, and numerical modeling.
- Strong programming/software development skills using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar technical computing languages.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and developing data-driven solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly technical environment and manage multiple priorities.
- English proficiency for reading/writing/communicating technical information and documenting findings.
Nice to have
- Experience developing algorithms for biomedical/physiological/wearable/medical device applications.
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and advanced data analytics.
- Knowledge of human physiology and biomedical signal acquisition methods.
- Experience in regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) and exposure to clinical study design and V&V activities.
- Experience with cloud-based data analysis tools, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
