Lead ETL Data Engineer (.NET / SQL)

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States; hybrid with 3 days onsite required Monday–Thursday

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Create and support System of Record data structures and data pipelines.
• Perform data validation, transformation, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Lead data engineering initiatives, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with stakeholders and application teams.
• Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and integration issues while supporting production deployments and platform enhancements.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of professional software or data engineering experience, including Lead Engineer-level experience.
• 6+ years of SQL development, database design, ETL development, data integration, and data validation experience.
• Experience building and maintaining System of Record solutions.
• Strong experience developing applications and services with .NET technologies.
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable data solutions and work in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Python experience for data engineering, automation, or scripting.
• C# development experience.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives.
