Salary: $178,900 – $208,000

What you will do

• Design, code, test, and debug complex data flows and subroutines to meet integration objectives.
• Build and support robust, real-time API integrations using REST and SOAP protocols.
• Develop strategies to optimize system capacity, response time, and overall reliability.
• Serve as the technical lead for medium-to-large integration efforts, mentoring junior developers.
• Implement preventive code improvements to eliminate recurring technical bottlenecks.
• Create comprehensive design documentation and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Application Integration and software development.
• Expertise in API frameworks (REST/SOAP), data formats (XML/JSON), and middleware messaging patterns.
• Extensive experience with Enterprise Middleware and full-lifecycle integration projects.
• Ability to translate functional requirements from business stakeholders into technical specifications.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
