Salary: $150,931 - $230,512 (depending on location)

What you will do
- Develop application software for the MK2 crew vehicle and lunar lander.
- Implement human-rated flight software, including crew displays and manual piloting interfaces.
- Collaborate with systems engineering to define software requirements.
- Author unit tests, documentation, and conduct rigorous code reviews.
- Validate software components using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and simulation environments.
- Contribute to platform software architecture and fault management trade studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in full life cycle software development for real-time embedded systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++.
- Experience with build automation, CI/CD, and git workflows.
- Strong debugging skills at the software/hardware boundary.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or equivalent legal status is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with safety-critical standards such as NPR 7150.2 or DO-178.
- Experience with RTOS such as QNX.
- Background in orbital launch vehicles or human-rated spacecraft development.
- Experience operating combined Hardware-in-the-Loop lab environments.
