What you will do

• Own the end-to-end software lifecycle from requirements analysis to implementation and verification.
• Design algorithms and develop embedded software for real-time, fault-tolerant systems.
• Apply security-by-design principles and lightweight DevSecOps practices including automated builds and CI testing.
• Analyze designs to demonstrate performance and functionality while identifying technical risks.
• Communicate with stakeholders to establish requirements and document technical procedures.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and collaborate with hardware, systems, and cybersecurity teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Expertise in real-time C/C++ or Rust development for aerospace-grade hardware.
• Strong knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, and hardware subsystems.
• Experience with UML/SysML and laboratory test equipment like JTAG debuggers.
