Salary: $225K – $250K

What you will do

• Lead long-form editorial vision and strategy across video, audio, blog, and newsletters.
• Build and manage the editorial team, hiring creators, directors, and managing editors.
• Establish the brand's editorial voice, style guide, and publishing standards.
• Execute an editorial calendar balancing artist stories, cultural commentary, and product narratives.
• Partner with Brand, PR, and Product Marketing to align editorial with business goals.
• Define and track engagement metrics to optimize content strategy and impact.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of editorial experience at a respected publication, platform, or brand.
• Proven track record of building and leading editorial teams and shaping content identity.
• Deep understanding of music, artist culture, and AI's impact on creative communities.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong POV on voice and structure.
• Fluency with the modern editorial stack, including CMS tools, analytics, and SEO.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and work in person from the LA office.
