Salary: $220,000 - $258,000 USD

What you will do
- Set technical direction for the Athena clearing house, including data validation pipelines and workflow orchestration.
- Drive the transition from prototyping to a sustainable, production-grade product stack with high operational rigor.
- Partner with staff engineers to establish domain ownership and technical standards across the team.
- Design systems to process unstructured vulnerability reports, deduplicate findings, and surface clean signals.
- Identify and retire technical debt while contributing to long-term architectural bets and capacity planning.
- Contribute to hiring and mentoring engineers to sustain high output and team health.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US, Canada, or the UK
- Track record of setting technical direction for complex, production-facing distributed systems.
- Deep fluency in Go and experience with GCP and Terraform.
- Experience transitioning teams from fast-moving prototypes to maintainable, monitored systems.
- Ability to work with messy, unstructured data and extract signal from enterprise inputs.
- Background in security-adjacent domains like supply chain, vulnerability management, or cloud security.
