What you will do

• Build mechanical assemblies, basic wiring, and fluid connections using detailed engineering documentation.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly procedures to ensure precise tool builds.
• Identify assembly issues and escalate them to senior technicians or engineers for resolution.
• Document completed build steps, changes, and observations in production logs.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area in accordance with safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic familiarity with hand tools and simple mechanical assembly techniques.
• Ability to assemble and plumb stainless steel tubing and Swagelok fittings from schematics.
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and CAD software.
• Physically able to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice to have

• Technical or trade school education, internships, or vocational training.
• Willingness to learn SolidWorks.
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Experience with cable terminations and automated machine control software.
