What you will do
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and repair non-functioning electromechanical equipment.
- Execute setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance on wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum toolsets.
- Dismantle, adjust, and assemble equipment based on blueprints, engineering drawings, and repair manuals.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in established tracking systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and process teams to optimize tool performance and reduce equipment downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using root cause analysis to enhance yield and system reliability.
Requirements
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
- Associate degree in STEM with 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- Alternatively, High School Diploma with 2.5 to 4+ years of relevant technical/manufacturing or military experience.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for extended periods wearing full cleanroom attire.
- Physical capacity to lift up to 35 lbs, climb ladders, and walk 3-5 miles per shift on the manufacturing floor.
- Willingness to work in proximity to chemicals and wear a respirator when required.
Nice to have
- Experience with wafer fabrication tools or assembly/test tools.
- Proficiency with electrical/mechanical measuring devices like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with torque wrenches and standard hand tools in an industrial environment.
