What you will do

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
• Coordinate monthly close processes and review financial statements and reporting packages.
• Supervise, train, and provide guidance to Staff and Senior Accountants.
• Serve as the first escalation point for complex accounting issues and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and internal controls.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements for workflows and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 4–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property accounting.
• Experience with property accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Avid.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring team members.
• Must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for occasional team collaboration.
