Strategic Communications SME (Federal): Serving as the bridge between technical, acquisition, and engineering organizations and executive leadership by transforming complex program information into actionable, decision-quality communications. Focus on developing executive briefings, white papers, and technical reports to support portfolio management and mission success within Federal Government technology programs.

What you will do
- Translate complex technical, engineering, and acquisition information into concise executive-level communications.
- Develop executive briefings, white papers, decision memoranda, and technical reports.
- Coordinate and document technical review boards, governance boards, and IPT meetings.
- Synthesize information from engineering, logistics, and financial teams into integrated portfolio-level reporting.
- Support risk communication and technical issue management by documenting mitigation strategies.
- Ensure transparent communication across all acquisition and engineering activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical or acquisition communications for Federal Government programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Engineering, or related field (or 4 additional years of relevant experience).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination/Public Trust investigation.
- Strong technical writing and editing skills with experience producing government documentation.
- Experience supporting PMOs, IPTs, or systems engineering organizations.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify participant).
Nice to have
- Active DHS or CBP suitability determination.
- Knowledge of DHS Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) and SELC.
- Experience supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or Federal law enforcement.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, DAWIA/FAC, or INCOSE.
