Location: Onsite (Office based 5 days per week) in Manchester, Ipswich, or Cheltenham. Must be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance and have lived in the UK for 10+ years.

What you will do

• Lead and develop an agile team of data scientists across multiple projects to meet internal and customer requirements.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of custom data models, intelligent algorithms, and AI solutions.
• Support the exploitation of data on critical customer platforms to improve security outcomes.
• Mentor other Data Science and AI professionals, acting as a primary technical resource.
• Identify high-impact opportunities and champion emerging trends in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and Scala.
• Expertise in data analysis, including graphs, networks, time-series modelling, and geospatial analytics.
• Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Basic DevOps and system-level Linux skills (SSH, shell scripting, cron, package management).
• Experience in cyber analytics and detecting threats in network data.
• Eligibility for DV Security Clearance (requiring 10+ years of UK residency).
