Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Lewiston, Maine

Salary: Starting at $170,000

What you will do

• Provide visionary leadership and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with community needs.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador to strengthen the organization's presence across Maine.
• Oversee financial health, resource development, and operational sustainability.
• Lead and inspire a dedicated team to cultivate a mission-centered, high-performance culture.
• Build and strengthen relationships with donors, community partners, and government stakeholders.
• Partner closely with the Board of Directors to ensure strong governance and shared goals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree preferred with 5+ years of executive management experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of executive experience.
• Demonstrated leadership managing a non-profit agency with a budget of at least $10 million.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and fundraising.
• Ability to build relationships and inspire diverse stakeholders.
• Valid Maine driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
