What you will do

• Operate live broadcasts and monitor signals to ensure uninterrupted and seamless content delivery.
• Support various operational functions including studio duties, master control, and support desk activities.
• Provide technical assistance to remote contributors, including Video Journalists (VJs) and outside broadcast teams.
• Manage video and audio signal flow using routers and switchers and oversee content ingestion into servers.
• Conduct rigorous audio and video quality control checks to ensure broadcast-quality output.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and maintain broadcast hardware, software, and transmission equipment.

Requirements

• Experience working within a broadcast, television production, or technical operations environment.
• Hands-on experience with broadcast production tools, systems, and technologies.
• Ability to work flexible 8-hour shifts, including early, mid, and late shifts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure in a live broadcast environment.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced news environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting live news or current affairs programming.
• Knowledge of master control room (MCR) operations and broadcast transmission workflows.
• Experience working with video routing, playout, or signal monitoring systems.
• Understanding of broadcast engineering principles and technical troubleshooting processes.
