What you will do

• Lead the LATAM Transaction Monitoring team and manage performance KPIs.
• Configure and tune pre- and post-transaction monitoring rules.
• Partner with Data Compliance to develop ML-based detection models.
• Oversee L1/L2 alert investigations and SAR/STR filing strategies.
• Drive the roadmap for agentic transaction monitoring and CDD controls.
• Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory inquiries across LATAM.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in FCC/AML/CFT with a strong TM focus.
• 4+ years of experience leading compliance teams.
• Deep knowledge of LATAM regulatory laws, FIU requirements, and sanctions.
• Experience with TM platforms and pre-transaction rules engines.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with data, engineering, and product teams.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience in compliance automation.
• Proficiency in SQL and creating dashboards.
• Knowledge of crypto AML/CFT.
• ACAMS or ICA certifications.
