What you will do

• Design and implement security controls across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software development workflows.
• Integrate security testing tools, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications, infrastructure, and platform services.
• Maintain security controls for cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized workloads.
• Develop automated security and compliance checks to meet regulatory and internal requirements.
• Mentor engineers on secure development practices and DevSecOps methodologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, or DevOps.
• Proven experience implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure in a production environment.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Terraform.
• Must be based in Ireland

Nice to have

• Experience with vulnerability management tools like Snyk, Wiz, or GitHub Advanced Security.
• Knowledge of SIEM, security monitoring, or threat detection platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
