Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Cloud Engineer (AWS): Building and managing AWS Landing Zones and foundational cloud infrastructure with an accent on automation, container orchestration, and secure scalable deployments. Location: Hybrid in Sant Joan Despí, Spain (3 days of remote work allowed)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage AWS Landing Zones and foundational cloud infrastructure.
• Support the migration of application stacks to AWS, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters (Open Source and OpenShift) and Docker container deployments.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshooting bottlenecks and collaborating with developers.
• Maintain system security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of extensive hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, etc.).
• Proven experience in migrating application stacks to AWS.
• Mandatory experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Solid Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• High level of English proficiency (C1).

Nice to have

• Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, GSMA).
• Prior experience in telecom or mobile network environments.
• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
