Backend Engineer (AdTech)

Location: Hybrid in Paris (3 days in-office baseline)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go.
• Build and optimize distributed systems to support high-volume, low-latency auctions.
• Collaborate with WebExperience, InApp, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure platform reliability and stability through well-defined SLIs and SLOs.
• Monitor system health and performance using Grafana and Prometheus within the AWS ecosystem.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including 2-week sprints and architectural discussions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Hands-on experience with Go or a strong willingness to become proficient.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and best practices for reliability and scalability.
• Familiarity with SLI/SLO concepts, performance monitoring, caching, and CPU/memory profiling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
