What you will do

• Write quick-turn blog posts that break down the news of the day.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to document criminal crypto activity.
• Contribute to biannual flagship reports on crypto crime and the global on-chain economy.
• Develop long-term content ideas alongside Research and Marketing teams.
• Investigate complex trends across DeFi and mainstream crypto adoption.
• Use investigative tools to strengthen storytelling and ensure accuracy from sourcing to publication.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional writing experience, ideally in a newsroom or editorial environment.
• Ability to explain complex financial, technical, or regulatory topics in plain language.
• Working knowledge of the crypto industry, including blockchains, exchanges, DeFi protocols, and stablecoins.
• Experience adapting tone and voice for distinct audiences such as policymakers and compliance professionals.
• Bachelor's degree in a writing-intensive field or equivalent professional experience.
• Location: Must be based in New York.
