Senior Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

What you will do

• Deliver and operate high-quality software for the ING Resource Manager at the core of the Touchpoint Platform.
• Develop a common configuration foundation that automates Touchpoint Platform components and integrates with the deployment pipeline.
• Onboard new automation use cases and help define the ING Resource Manager architecture.
• Support integration of new components and answer technical questions from other squads.
• Create pull requests and contribute to products owned by other squads to increase Touchpoint Platform adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with Java/Kotlin and the Spring framework.
• Experience delivering working code together with suitable automated tests.
• Strong knowledge of code design and design patterns.
• Good understanding of functional programming principles.
• Experience with Kubernetes and an open-source way of working.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
• Polyglot mindset and eagerness to learn new languages and technologies.
