TL;DR

AI Engineer (Insurance): Designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered workflows and models to drive business efficiency with an accent on cloud-based automation and infrastructure maintenance. Focus on building scalable AI solutions using Azure, containerization, and workflow automation tools within the insurance sector.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Liverpool, UK (Hybrid role).

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum.

What you will do

  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI models and algorithms.
  • Collaborate with AI Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows using tools like n8n, Azure, and OpenWebUI.
  • Maintain and improve existing AI infrastructure and applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and establish team best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship (at least one year remaining on Graduate or Post-Study Work visa).
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python or Javascript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

  • Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools.
  • Knowledge of data engineering principles.
  • Experience with insurance fraud detection patterns and analytics.
